*****MY REVIEW: Don't overlook this restaurant because it's next to a gas station! It so deserves it's own building with more space. This place has excellent food! Everything is delicious, especially the homemade bread! The pizza from here is exceptional...What I believe to be the best in town! There's always cool Italian music playing outside too! Give this place a try!

MY REVIEW: This is not like any other Napoli Pizza in Houston; it is the domain of Sam (a talented chef) and his charming wife Abby, also an outstanding cook. Their pizza is the best in Houston. They will make it anyway you want it, but the thin crust New York style pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms can make a native New Yorker cry. While in New York last year, we tried the pizza at the iconic L*ombardi's--Sam's was better hands down. But Sam's talent does not stop with the best pizza in Houston. The menu includes homemade ravoli with vodka sauce and chicken with artichokes and lemon. Sam's is one of the best kept secrets in Houston.

MY REVIEW: If you are looking for a real ny style pizza you have to try them. their pizza crust is very good, the sauce you could tell is homemade and they put alot of cheese. Try thier Sicillian Crust (the square pizza) if you prefare more dough on your pizza.

I had their Lasagna, it is to die for, also their homemade Mannicotti and shrimp alfredo, you will love their plum jumbo shrimp. I also get their Tiramisu or the chocolate Cannoli w. the rum sauce every time I order from them, it is heavenly good. I would recommend them to everybody.

MY REVIEW: I was surprised to see the people in this restaurant making their own Italian sausage & Meatballs from scratch. I walked in to get my pizza, and I saw them pulling huge trays of meatballs ( each is the size of baseball) out of their brick-oven, so when I asked if they made them from scratch they allow me in the kitchen to see their freshest batch that was not ready yet to be baked.

Next time I will try their spaghetti and homemade meatball, and after that I would like to taste their angle hair and Italian sausage. I love their pizza, it is the best. NAME: M.Kaderri

MY REVIEW: I was very surprised that no one has reviewed this restaurant. I've ordered from here many times over the last 3 years. Their food is always fresh and so flavorful. Know that this is an outpost of Little Napoli, inside a Chevron station on Hwy 6 and Old Richmond. They do deliveries, and I've never ordered a pizza from them. However, their Italian dinners are incredible. I've had the Chicken Piccata (with capers, of course), and the Chicken Marsala. They are both great. I have to try the pizzas, but what I've had here is very good. I highly recommend them!

Absolutely delicious! Family type restaurant, real Italian, excelent service, good prices...and the food....GREAT! The best chicken alfredo pizza in Houston, and their wings are real wings, not "mini" wings as served everywhere else in town.

*****Tastes and looks like NY!

by mpower638 at Citysearch                             11/19/2007

First let me make sure I have the correct Napoli's. The one I am talking about is in Sugar Land and on Highway 6, just slightly south of Bissonet. It is next to a Chevron gas station. This is not a chain. In regards to it's location, it is not pretty. But if it looked all new and fancy, you wouldn't feel like you were in NY when you walk in. It is next to a Chevron. But if you're like any New Yorker or any sane person for that matter, you'd rather eat good food at a dump than eat garbage at a nice restaurant. No one eats inside. When I go there to eat inside, I usually see soccer moms, etc carrying out. So some might find this place dumpy, but I feel like I am home when I sit down. This place has the closest thing to NY pizza I have found. The place is small. The moment you walk in you feel like you're in any neighborhood pizzeria in New York--the cheap dingy overhead menu with block letters, a fridge for some cokes and snapples, and they have STRAWS! Very rare for a place in Houston to have straws. Just go inside, and you'll feel like you're back home. I guarantee it. The dough is thin and good texture. The crust is light and airy. There is a good amount of cheese. The pizza does not have that much of the orange grease that drips out of your slice when you fold it. I personally like the grease cuz that's how you know the pizza was cooked properly (the oil comes out of the cheese at a certain temperature). One slice with one topping is $2.50. I drive 1 hour round trip from my house to bring home a pie. It's that good. Great during baseball season when you have the Yankees on TV (that's if you have satellite) Just like Brothers Pizzeria, they claim to have a brick oven in the back--but who knows. Best kept pizza secret in Houston! Too bad you can barely see it from the road. I'd love for others to try it.

* Pros: Best pizza in houston. Closest to NY you'll find

* Cons: Poor location and far from my house. Pizza is cold by the time I come home with it. But still worth it.
